Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF

l am super proud of my certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) from the University of South Florida. This free online course provided tons of great food for thought on how to promote access to STEM education and opportunities for traditionally underrepresented groups in my institution and research group. DEI is such an important issue in my field, which has historically been dominated by just a very few groups. Now that I am lucky enough to have earned a permanent position in this field, I definitely want to be an advocate for positive change. I still have a lot to learn but glad to have some extra knowledge under my belt.
